Goldman Sachs Promotes Rowe to Lead Media and Telecom Banking

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. has named Jason Rowe to replace Andrew Gordon as global head of media and telecommunications banking.

Rowe will continue to serve as chairman and chief executive officer of Goldman Sachs Canada, according to an internal memo reviewed by Bloomberg.

A representative for the bank confirmed the contents of the memo from Nick Giovanni, head of global TMT investment banking.

Rowe joined Goldman Sachs in 2002 as an associate and was named managing director in 2011 and partner in 2016, according to the memo.
