Goldman Sachs Picks New France, Benelux Investment-Bank Heads

Goldman Sachs Group Inc appointed Céline Méchain and Thierry Sancier as co-heads of Investment Banking for France, Belgium and Luxembourg, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg News.

Méchain is currently head of the France Cross Markets Group and is responsible for covering key French corporates, family offices and private equity sponsors in the region. Sancier is head of Investment Banking Services for EMEA and has coverage responsibility for key clients in France. They will take on the new co-head responsibilities in addition to their current roles.
