Goldman Real Estate Partner Weidman Retires at 47 After 22 Years

Peter Weidman, a Goldman Sachs Group Inc. partner with decades-long involvement in its real estate investing efforts, has retired from the New York firm.

“After 22 incredible years at Goldman Sachs I have decided to leave the firm,” Weidman, 47, wrote in a memo to colleagues and clients seen by Bloomberg News. “I am extremely proud of what we have built and accomplished in our real estate investing business over the past two decades,” he wrote, adding that he has no immediate plans other than to relax and play golf over the summer.
