Goldman Sachs Group Inc. has promoted five senior executives across its investment-grade capital markets and risk management units covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg News.
Jans Meckel and Matthew Straughen have been named co-heads of EMEA fixed income currencies and commodities derivatives origination. Meckel currently serves as head of risk management for Austria, Benelux, France, Germany and Switzerland in the financing group, while Straughen heads the corporate and sponsor foreign exchange business in the EMEA financing group.
