AI agent builder Genspark Inc. has secured more than $200 million from investors including LG Group’s investment arm in its latest funding round, becoming the newest billion-dollar startup in the artificial intelligence arena.
LG Technology Ventures and Japan’s SBI Investment Co. joined other investors in the California-based startup’s Series B round, co-founder Wen Sang told Bloomberg Television. He declined to name the other investors, though Tencent Holdings Ltd. and Hongshan Capital have been in discussions to join the financing, the Information has reported.
