Fortress Taps Former Goldman Banker Dimitri for Private Credit

Fortress Investment Group hired former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. managing director Michel Dimitri.

Dimitri will start at Fortress on Monday, where he’ll focus on private credit and report to Andy Frank, who leads global sponsor finance, a spokesman for the firm said.

Dimitri co-led Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s capital-markets and credit-trading business, according to his LinkedIn profile, which notes that he was named managing director in the class of 2019.
