Ex-Goldman Banker’s Firm Hires McKinsey Executive for PE Push

A money manager founded by a former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. executive has recruited a veteran of McKinsey & Co. as the firm increasingly focuses on private equity investments.

Gary Pinkus, co-founder of the consulting giant’s private equity advisory unit, recently joined Nasir Alsharif’s Sackville Capital as a board member and chairman of its platform for backing those seeking to grow their own investment businesses, according to its website.

Kenneth Miranda, Cornell University’s chief investment officer, and former Investcorp private equity executive Daniel Lopez-Cruz also were added to separate endowment and investment committees this year at the ...
