Ex-CLSA Deputy CEO Joins Hong Kong Firm in Private Debt Push

CLSA Ltd.’s former deputy chief executive officer, John Sun, has this month joined a Hong Kong-based asset management firm as its co-managing partner and chief investment officer.

The firm, APlus Partners, founded in 2020 by China Everbright Ltd.’s ex-Chief Executive Officer Chen Shuang, focuses on private equity and credit investments. Its shareholders include Sequoia Capital China and IDG Capital.
