Global investors looking for alternatives to the US are turning to Europe and Asia for returns, a shift that Swedish buyout firm EQT AB says is playing to its advantage.

Efforts to rely less on the US are fueling fresh fundraising momentum for the company, which sees Asia as a key driver of growth and a crucial part of its global strategy, departing EQT Chairman and Founder Conni Jonsson said in a Bloomberg Television interview on Tuesday.
