EQT Names Private Capital Co-Heads After Franzen Becomes CEO

EQT AB appointed Bert Janssens and Eric Liu as co-heads of private capital in Europe and North America, following Per Franzen’s accession to take on the top role to lead the buyout firm.

Janssens and Liu’s appointments are effective immediately, according to a letter to investors Monday that was reviewed by Bloomberg News. Janssens will also take on responsibility for overseeing the EQT Future and the early-stage technology strategies, EQT Growth and EQT Ventures.
