EQT Chair Sees Fallout From US Policies Benefiting His Firm

EQT AB Chairperson Conni Jonsson said the impact of policies from Washington is making the Swedish firm more attractive to investors compared to rival private equity groups based in the US.

“People are looking to deploy money to general partners that are not in the US,” Jonsson said in an interview with Bloomberg News at the buyout group’s capital markets event in London. “That’s benefited us, especially in Asia and in Europe to some extent.”
