Elliott Alum Wills Gets Squarepoint Cash for Hedge Fund Startup

Mark Wills, a former Elliott Investment Managementmoney manager who’s planning his own hedge fund, has won backing from Squarepoint Capital for his startup.

London-based Squarepoint is coming in as an anchor investor for Wills’s Cisu Capital Partners, which is expected to debut later this year, a person with knowledge of the matter said, asking not to be identified discussing private information.
