Danish AI Consumer Research Firm Gets $34.5 Million to Expand

A Danish consumer research company that counts Lego A/S, Nike Inc. and IKEA among its clients raised $34.5 million to build out its artificial intelligence technology, including plans to expand in the US.

GetWhy A/S said the investment by PeakSpan Capital LLC represents one of the largest Series A funding rounds in Danish history. The Copenhagen-based company’s chief executive officer said the new owner will get a 25% to 35% stake. That would value GetWhy at $99 million to $138 million.
