Credit Suisse Group’s Von Stroh Exits for Role at William Blair

Credit Suisse Group AG managing director Sprague Von Stroh has left for a role at William Blair, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

San Francisco-based Von Stroh will join former Credit Suisse colleagues including Jerome Wallace, Brian Williams and Jeff Hypes in William Blair’s private capital advisory group, said the people, who requested anonymity because the move isn’t yet public. Von Stroh, who will start after a period of garden leave, has worked with firms including Clearlake Capital, Harvest Partners and Roark Capital Group.
