Cinven in Talks With Eurovita’s Lenders for Debt Standstill

Private equity firm Cinven Ltd. is in talks with bank lenders of its Italian life-insurance business to suspend debt payments after failing to sell it last year.

The owner of Eurovita Holding SpA is negotiating a standstill with banks until the end of 2022 on about 300 million euros ($322 million) of loans. BNP Paribas SA, ING Groep NV and Natwest Group Plc are among the banks that provided the debt, according to people with knowledge of the discussions, who asked not to be named because they are private.
