Cerberus Taps Former Cyberspace Ambassador to Boost Defense Bets

Cerberus Capital Management appointed Nathaniel Fick, a former US ambassador, to the newly created role of chief strategy officer for equities, as it looks to expand its investments tied to national and economic security.

Fick will focus on Cerberus’ global investments across private equity and venture capital, including its supply-chain strategies, the firm said in a statement.

He’ll work closely with Chris Darby, global head of venture investments, to identify new opportunities and will report to Chief Executive Officer Frank Bruno, the firm said.
