Carlyle Hires David Schonbraun to Head U.S. Real-Estate Credit

Carlyle Group Inc. has hired David Schonbraun to head its U.S. real-estate credit arm as the private equity firm further bolsters its expansion in the business.

Schonbraun, formerly the chief investment officer of New York real-estate company SL Green Realty Corp., will report to Roger Cozzi, head of real-estate credit, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg. SL Green announced Schonbraun’s departure from the firm inMay.
