Brookfield Taps Craig Noble to Lead the Firm’s New Credit Group

Brookfield Asset Management named Craig Noble to oversee its newly formed credit group as the firm pushes into one of the hottest corners in private markets.

“We are confident that credit will be a meaningful driver of BAM’s growth over the next decade,” President Connor Teskey said Wednesday during an earnings conference call, after announcing Noble’s new role.

Noble most recently was chief executive officer of alternative investments at Toronto-based Brookfield.

The alternative-asset manager is aggregating its credit business across credit funds and insurance investment strategies as well as partnerships with Oaktree Capital Management and European credit manager LCM Partners ...
