Brookfield May Put More Cash Into Its Bankrupt Polish Solar Firm

Private equity giant Brookfield Corp. is considering putting more money into its Polish solar power company Goldenpeaks Poland Holding as part of a Chapter 11 process in the US, according to a court filing.

The two companies are putting the finishing touches on a financing package, Goldenpeaks said, though it did not mention how much cash it is asking Brookfield to lend it. Brookfield affiliates own a stake in the company and are its most senior lenders, according to the bankrupt firm.
