BMO to Start U.S. Prime-Brokerage Business With BNP Hires (1)

Bank of Montreal’s capital-markets unit hired Thomas Guagliardo and Robert Luzzo from BNP Paribas SA to start a U.S. prime-brokerage business.

Guagliardo will be a co-head of global prime brokerage with Jordan Lupu, while Luzzo will be head of global prime sales, BMO Capital Markets said in an emailed statement. All three will report to Robert Yeung, head of global equities and financing solutions.
