Bluestone-Backed Sports Platform Volo Acquires Rival ZogSports

Volo Sports has reached an agreement to acquire ZogSports, the second-largest recreational league organizing platform after Volo.

More than 120,000 players use the ZogSports platform and the acquisition will expand Volo’s operations to cover 11 major cities in the US, according to a statement reviewed by Bloomberg News. ZogSports’ co-ed leagues for basketball, soccer, softball, volleyball and other sports in cities including New York and San Francisco are a popular after-work activity for both Wall Street and Silicon Valley alike.
