Blackstone-Backed Engineering Firm Legence Files for US IPO

Legence Corp. filed for an initial public offering that could position it to be at the forefront of a potentially busy September for first-time share sales.

The San Jose, California-based company had a net loss of $26.5 million on revenue of $1.1 billion in the first six months of 2025, compared with a net loss of nearly $8.8 million on revenue of $989.6 million in the same period a year earlier, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission Friday.
