BlackRock’s GIP, Pentagreen Hire for Asia Infrastructure Debt

Private financing firms are expanding their infrastructure debt teams as Singapore pushes to reduce carbon emissions across the region, notably Southeast Asia.

Global Infrastructure Partners LP, the private markets unit of BlackRock Inc., recently hired Saul Raccah as managing director for infrastructure private debt, according to his LinkedIn profile. Singapore-based Raccah, who started earlier this month, will focus on Southeast Asia deals, according to people familiar with the matter, who asked not to be identified discussing private matters.
