BlackRock Veteran to Lead Manulife Private Markets Unit

BlackRock Inc.’s former head of global infrastructure and real estate, Anne Valentine Andrews, was hired by Manulife Financial Corp.’s asset-management unit to lead private markets.

Valentine Andrews, 52, will join Manulife Investment Management in March as global head of private markets and help oversee about $120 billion of private assets for clients as well as insurance account funds, the firm said in a statement Tuesday.
