BlackRock Invests in Spanish Unicorn Job&Talent in Down Round

Job&Talent, a Spanish staffing agency, has raised €92 million ($102 million) from investors at a valuation of €1.4 billion, a sharp decline from its value in 2021.

BlackRock Inc. and Kinnevik AB led a Series F financing, the Madrid-based company said on Thursday.

A 2021 financing round gave Job&Talent a $2.4 billion valuation. It now joins a growing list of startups that have cut valuations and expectations from pandemic-era highs. Growth at Job&Talent stalled after demand for temporary hiring dropped in recent years.
