BC Partners to Lure Individual Investors With New Credit Fund

BC Partners Credit is tapping into growing demand among rich investors to allocate to all things private credit as it launches a new closed-end strategy.

The Opportunistic Credit Interval Fund (OCIF) will invest in everything from senior-secured and mezzanine loans to middle market companies, asset investing, debtor-in-possession facilities and loan-to-own opportunities, according to a Wednesday statement.

The London-based investment firm closed its second special opportunities fund in December with $1.2 billion in commitments. Canadian-headquartered Mount Logan, an affiliate of BC Partners, will manage the new strategy.
