Barclays Hires Leveraged Finance Banker Andersen From Nordea

Barclays Plc has hired Bjorn Andersen, a leveraged loan and high-yield bond banker, from Nordea.

Andersen is set to join Barclays leveraged finance syndicate desk in London as a senior managing director in March. He joins from Nordea Bank Abp, where he was a managing director and head of high yield and loan syndicate, based in Copenhagen. Prior to that, Andersen worked at Deutsche Bank.

He will report to Ben Burton, global head of levfin syndicate in New York, and locally to Na Wei, global head of leveraged finance in London.
