Bain Capital Names Sessa as Co-Head of Private Equity in Europe

Bain Capital has promoted Ivano Sessa to be co-head of European private equity as the investment firm is shaking up its leadership ranks in the region.

The 47-year-old Italian will help lead the European private equity business alongside Stuart Gent, according to a memo seen by Bloomberg News.

Sessa, a native of Naples who joined Bain in 2004, is a partner and European co-head of the industrials vertical, the firm’s website shows.
