Bain Capital Hires Coatue Alum Mouradian for Special Situations

Bain Capital hired former Coatue Management partner Nick Mouradian as a managing director, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Mouradian will join in May to lead Bain Capital’s special-situations bets in the technology sector, said some of the people, all of whom requested anonymity to discuss an appointment that isn’t yet public. He’ll be based in New York and report to Angelo Rufino, a partner at the firm and its head of special situations in North America and corporate special situations in Europe.
