Apollo Co-Head of Infrastructure, Natural Resources Departs (1)

Apollo Global Management Inc. senior partner Geoffrey Strong, most recently co-head of infrastructure and natural resources, has left the firm.

He departed late last year to pursue other opportunities including starting a new fund focused on investments related to energy transition and infrastructure, according to people with knowledge of the matter. A representative for New York-based Apollo and Strong declined to comment.

His exit leaves Dylan Foo and Olivia Wassenaar as sole heads of infrastructure and natural resources, respectively. Wassenaar also oversees sustainable investing.
