Apollo Taps HPS’s Pluff as a Partner, Co-Head of Capital Markets

Apollo Global Management Inc. hired Kevin Pluff as a partner and co-head of capital markets alongside Michael Shapiro, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Pluff, who was most recently head of capital markets at HPS Investment Partners, will join after a period of gardening leave, one of the people said. Capital markets is part of the firm’s Apollo Capital Solutions business, led by Eric Needleman.

An Apollo spokesperson declined to comment, as did a spokesman for HPS.
