Apollo Taps Cornell to Lead U.S. Capital Solutions Origination

Apollo Global Management Inc. hired Dennis Cornell, a former banker at Moelis & Co. and Morgan Stanley, as a partner and head of U.S. origination for its capital solutions business.

New York-based Cornell, who has worked with private equity firms and energy companies, will focus on originating capital solutions across all parts of Apollo’s investment platform, a spokeswoman for the firm said.
