AGL Credit Hires Carlyle, Apollo Alum Boswell for Direct Lending

AGL Credit Management LP, the firm founded by Peter Gleysteen and the late Thomas H. Lee, hired Taylor Boswell as it plots a push into direct lending, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Boswell, who’s based in New York, left Carlyle Group Inc. in December to pursue other opportunities. He joined the alternative-asset manager in 2017, ultimately holding roles including chief investment officer of Carlyle Direct Lending, after working at Apollo Global Management Inc. and Perella Weinberg Partners.
