Aegon AM Portfolio Managers Depart to Start Private Credit Firm

Three portfolio managers that helped create Aegon Asset Management’s sustainable fixed income strategy in the US left the firm last month to start a private credit fund that will focus on innovative climate technology.

James Rich, Brian Wayne, and Alena Solonina left Aegon April 30 to launch CurvePoint Capital Management, according to a statement reviewed by Bloomberg on Wednesday. The trio left Aegon AM after 15 years, seven and two years respectively.
