Business information and analytics provider ZoomInfo Technologies Inc. defeated all but one of 14 counts in a lawsuit alleging it scraped information from the emails of nonusers of its services without their consent in violation of federal and state privacy laws.
Jennifer Wysocki, Andrew Sidhu, Betsy Kellogg, and Keisha Flemister alleged in the proposed class action that ZoomInfo illegally collected information from emails they sent to subscribers of the company’s services who had granted it access to the subscribers’ inboxes in exchange for a free subscription.
