Zoom Video Agrees to Enhance Security to Settle FTC Allegations

The Federal Trade Commission said Zoom Video Communications agreed to establish and implement a comprehensive security program to settle allegations that the video conferencing provider engaged in a series of deceptive and unfair practices.

  • Zoom’s misleading claims gave users a false sense of security, according to the FTC’s complaint
