Verizon isn’t liable for employee Brandon Kostick’s alleged actions because the conduct isn’t “of a kind and nature” that he was employed to perform, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania said July 18.
“No conceivable explanation” exists as to how the employee’s conduct would serve Verizon’s business, the court said.
