A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit alleging unauthorized use of Verisk Analytics Inc. and its subsidiaries led to an individual’s personally identifiable information being illicitly accessed by a third party.
Plaintiff Jillian Cantinieri “failed to establish Article III standing with respect to any of these claims because she has not shown that her alleged injuries are actual or imminent such that they constitute injuries in fact or that they are fairly traceable to Defendants’ disclosure of her PII,” Judge Nusrat J. Choudhury wrote in Monday opinion granting Verisk Analytics’ motion to dismiss the amended complaint.
