Ubisoft Shared Gaming Data With Meta, Wiretap Lawsuit Claims (1)

Ubisoft Inc. exposed personally identifiable information of users with third parties, according to a proposed class action alleging wiretapping and other privacy violations by the video game maker.

Named plaintiffs Trevor Lakes of California and Alex Rajjoub of West Virginia, were subscribed to the Ubisoft+ service when they downloaded at least one video game while logged into their Facebook accounts, they said in a complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
