U.K.’s Labour Party Subject to Data Breach: Sky

The U.K.’s Labour party has been subject to a data breach, Sky’s deputy political editor Sam Coates says in a tweet, citing a statement from the party.

  • Data on Labour members, registered and affiliated supporters, and other individuals held by a third party has been the subject of “a cyber incident,” according to Sky
  • Sky cites Labour as saying that it was informed on Oct. 29 of the incident by a third party that handles data on its behalf, with “a significant quantity of party data being rendered inaccessible on their systems”
