Tyson, Worker Seek Nod for $4.8 Million Deal Over Kronos Hack

Tyson Foods Inc. agreed to a settlement valued at around $4.8 million to resolve allegations that it failed to pay full wages to its workers after its timekeeping system provider, Ultimate Kronos Group, was hacked.

The food giant compensated its workers to the tune of $2.77 million after a ransomware attack against Kronos in 2021 rendered its software inoperable and forced Tyson to adopt certain pay calculating measures the workers said were insufficient, according to a motion filed in the US District Court for the Western District of Arkansas.
