London’s IPO Drought Breaks With Test From Trio of UK Firms (1)

After a dismal first nine months of the year, a trio of initial public offerings are giving London a chance to prove the market’s still an attractive destination for listings.

The pickup in activity began with LED-face mask maker The Beauty Tech Group Ltd.’s IPO, which rose in its Friday debut. Then, packaged food maker Princes Group Plc announced plans for a listing. Finally, Shawbrook Group Plc kicked off its own London offering on Monday morning, which could value the specialist bank at about £2 billion ($2.7 billion).
