Topps Trading Card Company Sued Over Info Sharing With Meta

A California resident sued trading-card seller Topps Co. for allegedly intercepting customer communications without consent through hidden online tracking tools from Meta Platforms Inc. and Amplitude Inc.

Topps incorporated the tracking tools on its website, allowing the tech providers to collect customer data, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and purchase details, according to a complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
