TMX Finance Corporate Services Inc. and TMX Finance LLC will pay $12 million to resolve claims their inadequate security measures enabled a 2022 breach that exposed the personal data of 4.8 million individuals, under a deal given final approval in federal court.
Judge R. Stan Baker of the US District Court for the Southern District of Georgia granted the plaintiffs’ motion for final approval of the settlement in a Tuesday order.
