TikTok Preparing a US Copy of App’s Core Algorithm, Reuters Says

TikTok is working on a clone of its recommendation algorithm for its US users that may result in a version that operates independently of its Chinese parent, Reuters reports, citing unidentified people with direct knowledge of the efforts.
