Tech Group Sues to Stop Ohio Social Media, Gaming Age-Check Law

Tech industry group NetChoice sued the state of Ohio Friday to stop a law that would require platforms to identify the ages of users 16 and under. The group, whose members include Meta Platforms Inc. and Snap Inc., is asking the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio to stop the law until it proceeds with a court case against the law brought by the group.
