Therapy website Talkspace is accused of sharing consumers’ identifying data with TikTok in violation of California law in a new proposed class action.
Talkspace’s site includes tracking code software made by TikTok uses a process known as “fingerprinting” to gather device and browser information, geographic data, referral tracking, and in-site URL tracking to send user details to TikTok, according to the complaint filed in the US District for Central District of California.
