T-Mobile Beats Would-Be Class Over iPhone System Security Flaws

T-Mobile USA Inc. successfully escaped claims in a potential class action over alleged security flaws in one of iPhone’s operating systems, according to a Manhattan judge who dismissed the complaint.

Although plaintiffs claim that T-Mobile failed to disclose its practice of selling SIM cards with recycled phone numbers, Judge Lorna G. Schofield of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled that they couldn’t prove that T-Mobile was aware of the alleged defect.
