Student Sues Snapchat for Failing to Quash Teacher Relationship

A Texas high school student sued Snapchat parent Snap Inc. on Thursday, alleging that the social media platform failed to put an end an inappropriate relationship between the student and his female science teacher.

“Monitoring and reporting child molesters is not profitable, so Snapchat buries its head in the sand and remains silent,” the lawsuit, filed by the 17-year-old student and his guardian, says.
