Squire Patton Boggs Adds Former Spanish State Attorney in Madrid

Lorena Fatás joined Squire Patton Boggs as a partner in its litigation practice group in Madrid, the firm announced Monday.

Fatás handles complex litigation, arbitration and regulatory matters related to economic policy, energy transition, and environmental regulations. She advised and represented the Kingdom of Spain in complex investor-state disputes, particularly under the Energy Charter Treaty and bilateral investment treaties, the firm said.

She previously worked at Spain’s State Attorney Office.
